Ayaka Simon Silas holds a Doctorate Degree in Political Theory and is presently in the Department of Social Sciences and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Social and Management Sciences, Phoenix University Agwada, Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Ayaka possesses over twenty years of tertiary education teaching and research experience. His administrative experience in higher education includes being the departmental Examination Officer, Student counselling Officer, Head of Department, Deputy Dean, and later Acting Dean in some institutions around the country before now.
His research interest is in Political theory, especially in the development of an indigenous African Political Theory with a specific focus on African Democratic Theory and International Relations and Strategic studies. Over the years, Ayaka has actively participated in both local and international conferences, where he presented very well-researched papers. One of such papers was adjudged the best and presented in Las Vegas, United States of America in 2013.
Ayaka has many publications to his credit in peer-reviewed, local and international journals.
