Phoenix University Agwada is a conventional university sited in Agwada, a town in Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. The University is sited on a vast expanse of land, 45 hectares donated by the founder. The site is approximately 40 kilometers from Keffi and a little less than 100 kilometres from Abuja. Agwada is situated in Nasarawa State with geographical coordinates 8° 31′ 0″ North and 8° 3′ 0″ East.
Agwada, the site of the Phoenix University, is the ancestral home of the founder. Keffi, the adjacent metropolitan area to Agwada, like other surrounding areas with good proximity to Abuja, has witnessed bustling influx of people escaping the high cost of living in the nation’s capital. Naturally, additional social services needed by such people include educational institutions for their children and in some cases for themselves and their spouses.
